What does the Wesleyan Church believe? The Wesleyan church has a rich history of standing up for the misunderstood and vulnerable, accepting all people as equal in the kingdom of God. We were one of the very first churches involved in both abolition and women's rights movements. Wesleyan's believe that God gives us free will and that we are meant to pursue holiness as best as we can in our lives. We affirm God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit as the Holy Trinity. We believe in the Bible- that it is the inspired Word of God, living and active, relevant even today.
